Salut,

Lavi here. I write fiction, mostly sci-fi/fantasy and technothrillers. A significant portion of my work is also satire.

I consume a lot of fictional work myself, so I write stories that taste like what I’d like to read or watch. Generally, they are plot-driven dramas with sci-fi, futuristic, or dystopian elements, featuring flawed and somewhat reluctant heroes, and glazed with a dark sense of humor. Fast-paced nonlinear narration with multiple converging storylines is my favorite, so I tend to use third-person omniscient narrators in novels. My characters typically struggle with “free will,” and the readers always know more than they do. This may sometimes come across as ruthless god-playing, but well, why else would you write anyway?

I have two books out at the moment. One is a collection of short stories and novellas; the other is a novel. I don’t sell subscriptions, courses, or an ecosystem to trap you in. If you buy a book, you get a book. If you like my stuff and come back for more, great, thank you, and welcome :)

Lavi

P.S.: The name “Lavi” comes from Lavis, meaning “Chinese ink wash painting” in French.
